This weekend in Atlanta, SAE Institute will open the doors to its Atlanta campus to newbies and Hip-Hop legends.

SAE has teamed with veteran J Hatch to present the Beat Camp seminar with the aim of helping aspiring professionals learn the ropes of the ever-changing music business. Attendees will get a crash course in technology, production techniques, publishing and pretty much every aspect of the music industry.
It’s a great opportunity to learn and network, especially since the seminars will be taught by experts like Diamond D, Hi Tek, Organized Noize, DJ Toomp, S1 and Bink.
“Beat Camp Atlanta is music business boot camp,” says iStandard co-founder J. Hatch. “The pros who are participating in the seminars inject real-life, first-hand experience into the discussion, and let attendees know that being a working music professional isn’t just about beats and grooves – it’s a business.”
In addition to the seminars, Beat Camp features simulated meetings with A&R’s, an iStandard Producer Showcase Beat Camp Edition, the iNfluence Awards and a lot of one-on-one time with industry professionals on the campus of SAE Institute.
“By the time Beat Camp is over, every attendee in the house will know exactly what he or she needs to do to take their career to the next level,” J Hatch said.
Beat Camp takes places starting December 4 and ends on December 6 at SAE Institute’s Atlanta campus, located at 215 Peachtree Street in Atlanta.
