New Jersey senator Cory Booker made headlines last week when he blasted Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Senator Booker was pissed at Nielsen for her defense of U.S. President Donald Trump and his comments that African and Caribbean countries where shitholes.

It looks as though Cory Booker needs a wider platform to express his views and fight against the 45th POTUS.
Senator Booker launched a new podcast called “Lift Every Voice” will highlight overlooked issues of injustice and inequality, and give voice to inspiring stories of change
Senator Booker will be talking with grassroots activists, stakeholders, and organizers who are overcoming injustices and making a positive change in their communities.
“I know from living in Newark and traveling to communities across New Jersey and the country that many of the greatest, most powerful voices in our political process come from those on the ground who are painstakingly fighting each and every day to improve their neighborhoods,” Senator Booker told CollegeHipHop.com in a statement. “I hope this podcast will elevate their voices and shine light on important issues of righteousness and compassion that will inspire others to action.”
