World champion athlete Shaun White has never really been that conventional.

White started his career at the tender age of 9 when he befriended legendary skater Tony Hawk.

By the time he was 17, White was a professional skateboarder/snowboarder. Thanks to his skateboarding and snowboarding talents (and his curly red-head of hair, which caused headlines when he cut it,) Shaun White has been raking in millions by endorsing products ever since.
However, the fame and the money was hard-earned.
After turning pro, Shaun White went on to win the Summer and Winter X Games (in two different sports) in addition to snagging a few Olympic Gold Medals along the way. His company, Shaun White Enterprises rakes in about $200 million a year.
Those funds landed him in on Forbes most recent 30 Under 30 list, but they also allowed Shaun White to taken control of the 22-year-old Air + Style global festival, which is happening at Expo Park at LA Coliseum February 20-21.
“Air + Style is where the music, art, fashion, and sports worlds come together to have a great f#%€ing time! Plus great food, drinks and a learn-to-ride snowboard area!” – Shaun White
If you are thinking about attending Air + Style, just quit thinking. We did it for you.

Air + Style Flyer

First of all, J. Cole will headline the Hip-Hop heavy lineup.

Add on performances by Big Grams (Big Boi and electronic rock duo Phantogram), Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Migos, A-Trak and A$ap Ferg and the $135 price tag for a two-day pass suddenly seems like a really great deal. And that’s those are just the Hip-Hop acts. Expect to see performances by rockers like Incubus, The Struts, Haim and others.

The Air + Style festival is way more than music.

The festival will feature top artists like Bonethrower and Jeff Soto. New fashion and the latest technology will also be on display. If you are a foodie, Air + Style has you covered too. You can wander through “Chinatown,” “Austrian Village” and “Downtown LA” all featured throughout the festival grounds as a cure for the munchies.

Watch the world’s top snowboarders compete

The “Air” part of Air + Style is no joke. Shaun White used his clout to attract the world’s best snowboarders. They are going to go head to head on a 16 story jump for Big Air Snowboarding. Yup, snow in warm, sunny, Los Angeles. By the way, Big Air Snowboarding is the new Winter Olympic event established by Air + Style.
