Linkin Park Discusses Chester Bennington's Fragile Mindset Before Suicide

Just before Linkin Park band member Chester Bennington tragically took his own life, the rocker/rapper’s partner discussed his partner’s fragile mindset.
Chester was depressed over the suicide of his good friend Chris Cornell, the lead singer of Soundgarden, who hung himself in May of 2017.
Just weeks prior to Chester’s own death, Linkin Park attempted to perform their tribute song “One More Night” in honor of Chris.
“When we were doing a sound check, Chester couldn’t even make it through the song,” Mike Shinoda revealed. “He was getting halfway through and getting choked up.”
But Chester couldn’t make it through the set. Sadly, Chester Bennington was found dead on July 20, 2017 from suicide by hanging.
