Miami will be transformed into an artists’ paradise when Art Basel officially kicks off on December 3.

Each year, the city and its famous beaches become a haven for art lovers all over the world.

Some come to find the newest art, while connoisseurs like Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz and Sean “Diddy” Combs hit the town in search of paintings that range from the tens of thousands, into the millions.
Others come to Miami to stargaze, with the hope of meeting their favorite celebrity during the week, which will host over 250 galleries and is expected to draw about 100,000 people.
This year rappers like A$AP Ferg, Wiz Khalifa, Ghostface Killah and DMX will be around Miami for Art Basel, which will come to a close on December 6.
Here’s a guide to some of the events taking place, as well as hotels that are in the area. More likely than not, these venues are already sold out.
However, it is still a good roadmap for the weekend.
