The recent arrest of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzman played out like the Hollywood movie he wants produced to tell his rise to power as the head of The Sinaloa Cartel.

El Chapo was busted and is being extradited from Mexico, after he did an exclusive interview with actor Sean Penn for Rolling Stone magazine.
Thanks to El Chapo’s weird Twitter relationship with actress Kate del Castillo, actor Sean Penn managed to snag an interview for Rolling Stone with the fugitive drug cartel boss while he was on the run from DEA agents. The DEA was able to pinpoint El Chapo’s location and arrest him during a fierce gun battle that left five people dead.
In the Rolling Stone article, one of the things Sean Penn consistently noted was the display of wealth by El Chapo’s sons. Even though they were all deep in the jungle, Sean Penn couldn’t help but be mesmerized by Alfredo Guzman’s flashy wrist watche.
El Chapo’s sons Ivan Guzman and Alfredo Guzman seem to take pleasure in flaunting the amount of money they’re raking in from The Sinaloa Cartel’s drug operations. Both Guzman’s have unverified Twitter accounts that showcase the insane sum of money both of these guys are sitting on.
