Kendrick Lamar wearing his new Classic Leathers from Reebok |
Kendrick Lamar’s love for Reebok’s started when he was a youngster on the streets of Compton, California.
Back then, his preferred choice of footwear was the Reebok Classic Leather. So it must feel like a dream come true for him to be able to design for the brand.
The rapper just debuted his new limited-edition run of sneakers on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Reps for Kendrick said the Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Classic Leather limited edition he sported will drop January 16. The Compton rapper’s subtle call for unity between Bloods and Crips can be seen in the neutral colorway contrasted by minimal hits of blue and red on the sockliners.
The same goes for the embroidered tongue labels, debossed heels and woven rope laces.
This is the second year of Kendrick’s deal with Reebok and the Reebok Classic x Kendrick is the second sneaker he has designed for the company.
The partnership commenced last year with the Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Ventilator.
