Google's New Tech Allows Users To Step Inside of Music

Have you ever put your headphones on, zoned out and listened to the many layers of production on your favorite song?
Many times, most people listen to a song and try to isolate the various instruments in their heads, to get a better understanding of what the producer was thinking when he or she constructed the track.
Thanks to technology, and Google, we no longer have to use our imaginations to visualize a track’s individual components.
The new project, called “Step Inside of Music,” allows a viewer to explore layers of music all around, using spatial audio to understand how a piece of music is composed.
Google launched the project in collaboration with the popular podcast Song Exploder across different genres.
Thankfully, layers can be turned on and off, letting you hear the individual pieces of a song in a new way.
