The Black Eyed Peas Aim For "Sweet" Results In New Tech Experiment With "Sugar Tokens"

The Black Eyed Peas are experimenting with technology to promote their new website.
The Peas have announced a new partnership with Sweet to launch a new digital token called Sugar. Fans earn the digital tokens if they perform meaningful social and user actions on behalf of the award-winning Hip-Hop group.
According to reps for the group, The Black Eyed Peas and Sweet’s new partnership will produce “Sugar Tokens,” which have “social spendable value.”

Fans of The Black Eyed Peas can redeem the Sugar Tokens they have earned for various rewards, including VIP access, exclusive content, meet and greets, and shout-outs and more.
The move is part of a campaign to bring awarness to their song “Ring The Alarm pt.1, pt.2, pt.3.”
“Ring The Alarm” is a continuation of the call-to-action for reform on issues such as police brutality, prison reform, gun reform and immigration.
