Last week Garrison Lane Co, a Southern California-based cannabis company, spent the weekend with Drake and the OVO camp celebrating the much-anticipated Houston Appreciation Week.
Maintaining a quality over quantity motto in every facet of their operations, Garrison Lane Co. has made a huge impression on the cannabis and music industries in just a short time since it’s inception.
Aiming to produce high-end cannabis for the enlightened individual, Garrison Lane Co. modeled their signature strain (“Billy Kimber OG”) after the notorious 1800’s U.K. crime boss.
The brand has been pioneered by Woo, a well-known marketing guru in the Hip-Hop and fashion world, who has worked with Drake, Jay-Z, Crooks & Castles, Diamond Supply, Nike  and many other brands in those realms.
As such, the Garrison Lane Co. has naturally already received big co-signs from the Hip-Hop community.
So far a host of rappers including Juicy J, Dave East, Trae The Truth, Rob Stone, PnB Rock, $hy Glizzy and more have been seen smoking and sharing clips of the infamous “Billy Kimber OG” strain.

“The genetics load the gun and the lifestyle pulls the trigger for us. We are just a small So Cal upstart and and we’ve been fortunate to get this kind of support.” – Woo Soto, Garrison Lane Co.
“Houston and the OVO family were very hospitable and it was cool catching up with guys that I haven’t seen in a while. We have some big plans coming up this year, just watch, you’ll see,” Woo Soto explained to CollegeHipHop.com.
Moving forward the Garrison Lane Co. is focused on future branding opportunities to reach more fans of their hand crafted goods.
Currently they are also in planning stages to launch of their pre-rolled joints, accessories, apparel and other pre-packaged goods which will be available for cannabis consumers this Fall.
