A thundering round of applause flooded the Clark Atlanta University Stadium when the founder of Slutty Vegan, Aisha “Pinky” Cole, delivered her heartwarming speech earlier this month.
Pinky Cole was introduced first to the crowd, with a long list of accomplishments and donations to the needy. She went to the stage and started her speech.
And, the Slutty Vegan founder’s oration will not be a typical graduation speech.
“I want you to fail and fail miserably. I want you to fail so bad that your Plan C and your Plan B are looking at each other all wobbly and shaky. I want you to fail so hard that you become an expert in failure and you get a PHD in Fail-ology. I want you to fail because failing is not failing at all. It is finding aspiration in the losses,” Pinky Cole told the students.
She also mentioned her past failures and how they shaped her into the successful person she is now. This inspirational speech included a narrative of how she experienced hardships since she was still young.
“Why am I telling you this? I’m telling you this because 13 years later, that same broken and broke little girl now owns and operates not one but two multi-million dollar businesses in the middle of a pandemic,” Pinky cole revealed.
But the program did not end there. Pinky Cole, an alumna of the said institution, also gifted over 800 2022 graduates their own LLC, or limited liability company.Â
“Every single graduate in this room will leave this stadium as a business owner. I didn’t have a plan, but I’m going to make sure that you do,” she told the amazed students.

“You just gotta pray and wait and trust that whatever is happening will work itself out just enough for you to get to the next level,” Pinky Cole said.
